I would like everybody to set their time zone to UTC-1 Europe. To do this click on settings on your left sidebar. Then click on time zone. Thank you. This is important as when we begin attacks we will need to be on same time to cordinate attacks. Please post that you have done this on this thread. Thanks again.

I'm pretty sure that I did it. I clicked UTC-1: London, or something similar. - Quote :

I set mine to UTC-1 (London) a while back, but forgot to post about it here. Question, though: how does synchronizing our time zone settings help us to coordinate attacks? Wouldn't it be just as effective to say, for example, "lets attack "bitch.tits" at 10am, London time (UTC-1)"? The reason I ask is because, since I've set my time zone to UTC-1, the Grepolis built-in time calculations (such as "next demand" on farms) do not match my actual time zone; as a result, the in-game Grepolis timers aren't very useful to me, as they do not project figures relative to my time zone.
It's not really a big deal, so if having members on different time zones would only create unnecessary confusion, I have no problem keeping mine set to UTC-1. If it doesn't matter that much, though, I'd like to change mine back to my actual time zone. | |
